A man has been arrested after barricading himself inside his high desert home for more than five hours, authorities said.
There were no reports of hostages inside the home, near the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue H-4 in Lancaster, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
Homes around the barricade situation were evacuated as a precaution, deputies said.
A SWAT team took the man into custody before 6:30 a.m., a department tweet said.
