A husband and wife were killed after their pickup crashed into a tree in Bloomington Friday, May 2, 2014.

A husband and wife were killed Friday morning when their pickup slammed into a tree on the westbound 10 Freeway in San Bernardino County.

Officers responded to the truck crash around 3:45 a.m. in Bloomington, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of a red Ford F-150 lost control of the truck after an issue with a tire and collided with a tree off the freeway, an officer on the scene said.
