A man was in critical condition after he was assaulted by a group of men at a night club early Saturday morning in Hollywood, police said.
The incident was reported around 12:45 a.m. in the 1700 block of North McCadden Place. Officers found the man unresponsive in the upper level of the building, according to the LAPD.
The victim was transported to a hospital where he was in critical condition.
Police said surveillance footage showed three-to-four men physically assaulting the victim. No weapons were used in the assault, according to the LAPD.
About three witnesses were detained for questioning but were not considered suspects, police said.
Police said the incident did not appear to be gang related.
The assault was under investigation.
