Lanes on the southbound 110 Freeway were closed for several hours Tuesday morning after a dump truck overturned in the Montecito Heights area north of downtown Los Angeles

Traffic was diverted at Avenue 43 (map) on the southbound side of the freeway. Officials reopened all lanes by 8 a.m.

The truck struck an overpass at Pasadena Avenue about 2:30 a.m., but crews said the impact did not appear to have caused structural damage to the overpass.

The truck might have been part of an asphalt project on the freeway.

Details regarding the crash were no immediately available.
