Multiple Vehicle Collision Injures Several: Fire Officials
The crash occurred at about 5:50 p.m. in the 9700 block of W. Venice Boulevard in Palms
Aug. 8, 2012: Mutiple vehicles, including a Metro bus, were involved in a collision in the 9700 block of W. Venice Boulevard in Palms, officials say.
About a dozen people were injured after at least three vehicles, including Metro bus, collided in Palms Wednesday afternoon, according to fire officials.
Officials initially reported that16 people were injured in the crash. That number was updated to 12 -- 10 minor, one serious and one who declined transport, said Brian Humphrey with LA Fire Department.
The crash occurred at about 5:50 p.m. in the 9700 block of W. Venice Boulevard, Humphrey said.
