Police Search for Driver in Fatal Hit and Run

Police on Friday continued to search for the driver who struck and killed an 80-year-old woman then fled the scene earlier in the day.
Cu Nguyen (pictured below) was crossing Live Oak Avenue on Stewart Street around 6 a.m. Friday in Irwindale when she was fatally hit by a vehicle, according to Irwindale Police.
A description of the vehicle involved in the fatal collision was not immediately available, though police said it would likely have moderate to major front-end damage.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Irwindale police at 626-430-2244.
