Pursuit Ends After Car Crashes Into Medical College

A portion of a medical school was boarded up after the crash early Wednesday morning in West Covina

Wood framing, paper and other debris was scattered at the site where a driver involved in a pursuit crashed into a medical college Wednesday morning in West Covina.

The short pursuit began in Baldwin Park and ended at around 4 a.m. at the North-West College in the area of Garvey Avenue and North Sunkist Avenue. The school provides training for careers in medical fields.

No one was in the damaged portion of the building at the time of the crash.

One man was immediately taken into custody, and while the driver fled the scene and was later apprehended. The vehicle had been reported stolen, according ot authorities.
