Seven children were injured Saturday in a rollover crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Los Angeles, and taken to hospitals in fair condition, a city fire official said.
The crash was reported at 6:49 p.m. on the westbound 10 at Fairfax Avenue, according to Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The children's parents were assessed but did not require emergency medical attention, Scott said. They accompanied the children to the hospital.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
