One person was taken into custody Wednesday after shots were possibly fired at officers pursuing a vehicle in South Los Angeles.
Gunfire was reported about 2:50 p.m. in the area of Slauson Avenue and San Pedro Street, according to Los Angeles police.
No officers were injured but one suspect was taken into custody, police said.
According to a report from the scene, officers took a man into custody but were searching for a woman who ran from the vehicle.
