Firefighters attacked a fire Tuesday morning in a South Los Angeles residential area.

Aerial video showed firefighters on the roof of a house, just east of the 110 Freeway on 62nd Street (map). The fire was knocked down at about 8:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported. A cause was not immediately determined.

Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to other homes and a pile of tires located in the backyard of an adjacent property.
