Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested After Crashing into Bar

A suspected drunk drivers' car caused major damage when it crashed through the wall of a bar in Inglewood Saturday morning.

A suspected drunk driver is in custody after he crashed into a bar in Inglewood on Saturday morning, police said.

The crash happened at the Beacon Cocktail Lounge at 950 W. Manchester Blvd. at 2 a.m.

The car went halfway through the wall of the bar, causing major damage to the structure.

Building and safety officials are being called in to check the safety of the building, police said.

The driver totaled his Lexus sedan, but he was not hurt.

Police arrested him at the scene. His name has not been released.
