Three Big Rigs Involved in 5 Freeway Crash Near Magic Mountain

As of 5:35 a.m. Saturday, a SigAlert had been issued for the number 3 and number 4 lanes on the southbound 5 Freeway, as well as the Magic Mountain Parkway on ramp.

    Two tractor trailers and a box truck were involved in a crash that critically injured three people on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in Valencia early Saturday morning.

    The crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. near Magic Mountain Parkway.

    There were a total of six people injured, three of whom were ejected and are in critical condition, the California Highway Patrol said.

    As of 5:35 a.m. a SigAlert had been issued for the number 3 and number 4 lanes on the southbound 5 Freeway, as well as the Magic Mountain Parkway on ramp.
