Deputies are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a Ladera Ranch convenience store at gunpoint.
One of the men allegedly walked into an Arco AM/PM in the 27400 block of Antonio Parkway around 11:20 p.m. Monday and demanded cash from two registers, brandishing a black handgun at the clerk. The second man paced in front of the store just before a robbery, and distracte a witness - who turned out to be an off-duty police officer - during the robbery.
Both men fled on foot, running to the back of adjoining businesses. The off-duty police officer chased after them once the store clerk made him aware of the robbery, but was unable to locate them.
