Police Seek Man Who Burglarized Hollywood Apartment

Police Thursday sought the public's help in identifying a man suspected of burglarizing a Hollywood apartment.

The suspect entered the underground garage of a large apartment complex in the area of Alta Vista and Sunset Boulevard at about 6:30 p.m. last Friday and loitered around the front door steps before gaining access to the lobby when a deliveryman exited, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"The suspect proceeded to the second floor and used an unknown pry tool to open the victim's apartment door,'' according to an LAPD statement. "The suspect placed ... items into bags obtained from the victim's residence and exited the location."

The suspect is black, 25-30 years old, 170-190 pounds with a beard. He was wearing a bright orange Under Armor hoodie, camouflage pants and gray running shoes.
