Van Crashes Into Building on 10 Freeway in Baldwin Park

A van crashed into a building off the eastbound 10 Freeway Wednesday morning in Baldwin Park, prompting a full freeway closure as emergency medical teams worked to free the trapped occupants.

The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. near Puente Avenue (map).

Fire-rescue workers removed at least one person from van. The victim was airlifted to a hospital.

The van crashed into the Laidlaw's Harley-Davidson building. Both sides of the freeway were closed so the helicopter could land for the airlift.
