Preliminary 3.4-Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Devore Area

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake shook San Bernardino County Tuesday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was reported at 8:41 p.m. in the Devore area.

More than 900 residents from Riverside, Fontana, and some as far as Carson reported feeling the temblor, according to the U.S. Geological Survey's site.

A strong "jolt" was also felt in Rialto and Rancho Cucamonga, residents said on NBC4's Facebook page.

No reports of damage were immediately available.
