Police: Dead Infant Found in Santa Ana; Mother Transported to Hospital

A man reported a baby not breathing around 4:36 p.m., police said.

Paramedics on Friday found a two-month-old baby dead on a kitchen table at the Country Club Mobile Home Park in Santa Ana, police said.

Officials said they are investigating the death of the two month old as a homicide.

The child's mother was transported to the hospital seeking "medical aid," police said.

Police responded to the 500 block of South Sullivan Street (map) around 4:36 p.m. after a man reported a baby not breathing, police said.

Child abuse investigators were sent to the scene.
