Detox Spa Treatment, Option 1: Burke Williams "Hunter's Retreat" is the human equivalent of an automatic car wash. Except it's at one of LA's most plush day spa chains, and costs a bit more than the Splash 'n Dash. Hunter's Retreat, a 90-minute treatment, starts with a full-body exfoliation, and leads into a thorough cleansing with essential oils. All the while you are being doused with "cascades of warm water" from aerial shower heads that "immerse your entire body." Finally, you get towel dried, moisturized and, as Burke Williams puts it, "reborn."
