The Aquarium of the Pacific has completed installation of glass for its new wing called Pacific Visions.
The final glass panel was installed this morning in a ceremony where Long Beach Mayor, Robert Garcia, spoke about how Pacific Visions will be a global leader in the conversation about climate change solutions.
The venue does not open to the public until Spring 2019, but @NBCLA's Aliya Jasmine brings us inside for a sneak peek. Check out the video above, and be sure to follow @NBCLA on social media.
Glass panel installation began in July. The panels cover more than 17,000 square feet as part of a project that will expand the aquarium's education programs.
