A Gardena police motorcycle officer was left critically injured Wednesday in a multi-vehicle crash in the Harbor-Gateway area of Los Angeles.
The crash was reported about 7:50 a.m. at Western Avenue and 238th Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The officer, who is in his mid-30s, was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, the LAFD reported.
He was in surgery following the crash, Gardena police told NBC4.
