Surely an attempt to attract shoppers in these lean economic times, the blue upside down U things have been dropped from this retail cluster on Venice Blvd--dubbed Durango Market Mall--and now Mid-City area residents will shop under lilac hues for their foodstuffs. This mall was profiled last September, but this paint job looks new, so we're going to venture the transformation happened fairly recently. Goodbye, blue Us!
