NBC4 Reporter Hetty Chang will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the Alzheimer’s Association of Orange County's "Women #ENDALZ" luncheon at the Fashion Island Hotel in Newport Beach on May 3, 2019. Over 5 million people in the United States are living with Alzheimer’s disease with 670,000 of them being in California. Of those 5 million, two-thirds are women and that’s why this event is so important.
The event will bring together influential women in Orange County who are united in the mission to end Alzheimer’s disease and provide an opportunity to learn more about the enormous impact Alzheimer’s disease has on Orange County and how the latest research breakthroughs are changing the trajectory of the disease.
This year’s event will honor longtime Orange County resident Linda Sadeghi, of The LAB, with the Alzheimer's Association Community Epicenter Award for her dedication to raising awareness of the impact Alzheimer’s disease has on our community.
