Have you been to a Jonathan Adler store? Either the one on Montana or on Melrose? If not, trust us, it's the candy store of homewares, filled with pillows, rugs, wall decor, gifts and of course the trademark pottery. Adler, who first opened a store in New York's Soho in the 90's, has gone from exclusive purveyor of unique pottery to massive houseware sensation in just a decade. With, of course, a requisite show on Bravo! (He's a judge on Top Design).
But back to the stores, and specifically, the pillows. Jonathan Adler not only designs beautiful throw pillows (some with needlepoint!) but he also lets you design them yourself. With his careful supervision, of course (he chooses the palette and the materials, you can mix and match colors and designs). The picture at left is one we just whipped up.
