Stripes convenience stores in Texas and Louisiana will be selling three limited-edition Selena commemorative cups in honor of the The Queen of Tejano music.
The first design called "Queen of Cumbia" features a black and white sketch of Selena with a blue, yellow and pink colored background. It will be released Saturday.
The other two double-wall insulated cups designs will be released in March and April for fans to purchase. Selena's hometown of Corpus Christi celebrates her legacy April 12 and 13 at Fiesta de la Flor.
"We worked closely with Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, and this is her design and inspiration that she share with us," said Jessica Davila-Burnett, Stripes spokesperson.
Stripes is a founding sponsor of the Fiesta de la Flor.
Davila-Burnett said last year's cups sold out the same day they were put on shelves.
Customers can purchase up to two 2019 Selena commemorative cups in participating Stripes location in Texas and Louisiana until supplies last.
"Selena definitely continues to inspire us all, and this is just a small gesture to help celebrate her amazing legacy," Quintanilla said in a news release.
Selena Quintanilla Perez was shot to death by the founder of her fan club, Yolanda Saldivar, in Corpus Christi in 1995.
