That's Rather Fabulous: Harvey Mudd Estate in Beverly Hills

"Old Hollywood character" and "historical significance" reads the listing for this 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom estate in Beverly Hills that's asking$11.49 million. Whatever your feelings about it, this is just sort of fun to take it: It's was designed by Elmer Grey in 1922, and, judging from the listing, the home of the late Harvey Seeley Mudd, he of the Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, and of Cyprus Mines Corporation, which operated copper mines on the island of Cyprus, according to Wikipedia. He was also the Vice President of the CalTech. Fun place, Mudd. But why is there a leg warmer on your chandelier?
