What You're Doing Today and Tonight: March 21

There's always an alfresco, sit-back-and-share-a-bottle-with-pals kind of feel to The Original Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax. So it makes sense to us that on the day after the first day of spring the Market is getting people outdoors to sip and socialize at its Spring Wine Fest. In addition to serving up various nibbles, the vendors behind the event -- Monsieur Marcel, and both of the Market bars -- are pouring a variety of tasty libations served at the historic landmark, as well as offering tips on pairings. We're also keen on the Upper Deck location of the wine fest. The soft breezes come on through those big, old-fashioned windows, lending to the chilled-out vibe of the vino-licious to-do. Springtime Saturday perfection... Saturday, March 21, 1-5PM. $20/door. Farmers Market, 6333 W. Third Street, Los Angeles. 323-939-7792

Also on Saturday, March 21: It's Teen Night at MOCA Grand Avenue; Club Nokia welcomes Blue October; and the Great Urban Race takes to the streets of Los Angeles.
