6/25: Amanda Palmer, Third Eye Blind, Gin Blossoms

AMANDA PALMER: The Dresden Doll chanteuse and outlandish wearer of corsetry and frily garter-type articles is stopping by The Troubadour for a night of come-hither charms and operatic, tra-la-la punk fantasies. Interesting to us: She's done a book with Neil Gaiman. Concert 10PM

SEMI-CHARMED LIFE: Now there's a defining song of a decade; a re-listen reminded us why Third Eye Blind, those alt-rockers who hailed from San Francisco but went on to global success in the late '90s, had a whole vibe. You remember the vibe. You're still living the vibe, we hope. The band's at the Palladium at 7PM.

HEY JEALOUSY: And another defining song of the same decade. How can we work it that we can see *both* Third Eye Blind and the Gin Blossoms on the same night? Thing is 3eb is at the Palladium and the Blossoms are flowering in San Juan Capistrano and that's a bit of a drive for one evening. Still, the Gin Blossoms will be back in Burbank in August if you miss 'em. 8PM
