6/30: Lewis Black, Tiny Vaudeville, Book Signings

"ME OF LITTLE FAITH": Perhaps you missed his big Book Soup evening at Largo at the Coronet. Don't sweat it; funny person Lewis Black is still in town and still chatting up his new book. Guffaw with him at Barnes & Noble at The Americana at Brand at 8PM. Biting satire and smart asides are likely on the bill.

TINY VAUDEVILLE: The in-support-of-nice-writing-and-reading-lab-826LA extravaganza returns, for more hijinks, comedy, song, and all-out winsomeness. We need winsomeness right now. So need it. Bob Odenkirk and Dave Foley have showed up for past Tiny evenings; who will show tonight? 8PM

BOOK SOUP SIGNINGS: Author Gigi Levangie Grazer -- she of "The Starter Wife" -- signs her new New York City-set novel at 7PM (real estate drama is involved). Also, Isabel Kaplan has just published "Hancock Park" -- we do like book titles that give shout-outs to particular LA neighborhoods -- and will be appearing following Ms. Grazer at 9:30PM.
