A 19-year old male was arrested in connection with a fatal head-on collision that left three people dead and two others injured in North Hills early Sunday morning, police said.
Riley John Holman of Mission Hills was arrested Sunday on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, according to LAPD's Valley Traffic.
Police say Holman was driving a Jeep Liberty when he collided with a Toyota Corolla with four people inside just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of North Haskell Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard.
A total of five patients were involved, all described as male adults in their 20's, according to the LAFD.
The driver and front-seat passenger of the Corolla were pronounced dead at scene, and another passenger died at the hospital. The only survivor from the Corolla was reported to be in critical condition, according to police.
None of the victims had been identified as of Sunday night.
