Four men were arrested after a police car chase in South Gate late Wednesday.
Officers responded after receiving a call from a motorist at around 11:20 p.m that someone in a vehicle had pulled a gun on them, South Gate Police Department said.
They soon spotted the suspects' vehicle, and a pursuit began when they refused to pull over for a traffic stop.
The chase, which lasted just under 10 minutes, ended when the vehicle stopped at the interchange of the 105 Westbound to the 710 North.
Four suspects were arrested for felony evading and brandishing a firearm, and at least one large caliber, semiautomatic handgun was recovered, police said.
Downey Police Department, California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department assisted.
