Police were investigating the suspicious death of a man Thursday in Alhambra after his body was found in a backyard.

The man's body was found at approximately 4:40 p.m. in the backyard of a home on the 1200 block of South Sierra Vista Avenue, according to sheriff's deputy Trina Schrader.

Officers responded to the scene and found the victim - an adult Asian man - was bleeding from his head, where he suffered an injury and died.
