A body was found in the Los Angeles River and a second person was found injured near 26th and Soto streets in Vernon, police said Saturday.
The injured individual was transported to the hospital, according to the Vernon Police Department.
A third person was seen fleeing the scene, police said.
No further information was immediately available. The incident remained under investigation.
