Detectives were investigating the death of a man whose body was found Thursday night along a bicycle path in Bell.
The body was discovered about 9:10 p.m. along the Los Angeles River bicycle path in the 5300 block of Southall Lane, according to Deputy Tony Moore.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Moore said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were assisting Bell police in the homicide investigation.
Deputies did not release the cause of death.
