Downtown Disney Will Hike Parking Fees Next Week

Downtown Disney visitors can expect to pay a little more for parking starting Aug. 16.

Visitors will no longer be offered free two-hour parking, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The new policy requires a $20 purchase validation from stores or kiosks inside Downtown Disney.

Guests can receive up to four hours of free parking with validation from locations where visitors typically spend more time, like table-service restaurants and the AMC theaters.

Time beyond the free validated parking will cost $12 per hour.

Disney is also increasing the maximum daily charge and lost ticket fee from $36 to $48.

Visitors are allowed a 15-minute grace period for drop-off and pick-ups.

There is still no validation provided for those visiting the restaurants inside the Disneyland Hotel.
