Resurfacing work will prompt overnight closures of up to four lanes of the 710 Freeway in both directions in the Commerce area beginning Tuesday night, Caltrans reported.
The closures over the next four nights will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. between Washington boulevard and the 5 Freeway, according to Caltrans.
Also affected during that time frame will be the Washington Boulevard onramps and offramps, along with the connector road between the northbound 710 Freeway and the northbound 5 Freeway.
Between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day, the work will prompt closure of the connector road from the southbound 5 Freeway to the southbound 710 Freeway.
The work is part of a $150 million pavement rehabilitation and bridge widening project from Bell to East Los Angeles that is scheduled to be finished in summer 2021.
