2 Firefighters Injured Battling Blaze at Sushi Restaurant in Orange County

Two firefighters were injured while battling a fire at a sushi restaurant in Mission Viejo on Friday, officials said.

The second-alarm blaze erupted about 7:25 a.m. at Oishii Sushi located in a strip mall in the 25000 block of Jeronimo Road, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

Two firefighters were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, fire officials said. 

The fire was contained but not yet declared a knockdown as of 9 a.m.
