One person was killed and six other people were injured -- one critically -- in a crash Sunday involving six vehicles at an intersection in La Habra, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 7:09 p.m. at the intersection of West Lambert Road and South Idaho Street, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Capt. John Butorovich said.
The name of the deceased person -- who died at the scene -- was withheld pending notification of kin. Two other people had to be extracted from the wreckage and one person was sent to a hospital in critical condition, Butorovich said.
The condition of the other victims was unknown, and details of the crash were not available.
