Guests Evacuated Due to Early Morning Anaheim Hotel Fire

Firefighters were called about 3 a.m to the Worldmark by Wyndham hotel near Disneyland

A fire at a hotel in Anaheim near Disneyland early Wednesday morning prompted guests to evacuate.

Firefighters were called about 3 a.m to the Worldmark by Wyndham hotel in the 200 block of West Katella Avenue. The fire was on the 11th floor of the hotel, and guests in 240 rooms evacuated the building for 45 minutes.

"The hotel alarm came on and said it was an emergency and to come outside," said Scott Hall, a tourist from Utah. "When we opened the door, the hallway did have smoke in it."

All guests returned to their rooms later Wednesday morning.

No injuries were reported.
