Average LA County Gas Price Drops For 11th Time In 12 Days

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 11th time in the last 12 days, falling 1.5 cents to $4.189, one day after declining 1.2 cents.

The average price has decreased 6.9 cents over the past 12 days, following a 21-day streak of increases totaling 58.6 cents that pushed it to its highest amount since July 21, 2015, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.7 cents less than one week ago, but 41 cents more than one month ago and 31.8 cents higher than one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped for the 11th time in 14 days, decreasing 1.1 cents to $4.153 It has declined 7 cents over the past 14 days, after rising to its highest amount since July 22, 2015.

The Orange County price is 4.4 cents less than a week ago, but 40.8 cents more than a month ago and 33.2 cents higher than this day one year ago.
