2 LAPD Officers Injured in Pico-Union Crash

Two Los Angeles police officers suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash Sunday in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash happened about 7:20 p.m. at 2688 Olympic Boulevard, fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.

The two injured LAPD officers were transported to a hospital for treatment, Stewart said.

The other people involved in the crash were not injured, she said.

The intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Vermont Avenue was temporarily closed for the accident investigation, authorities said.
