A police pursuit of a pickup truck ended when a woman crashed into the front yard of a home in the Glendale area Monday.

Los Angeles police were pursuing an unreported stolen truck when the driver exited the 5 Freeway from the Burbank area and lost control and crashed on a lawn near Justin Avenue and Kenneth Road just before noon.

Another driver was also injured when it collided with the pickup just before the pursuit ended.

The woman was handcuffed by responding officers. Emergency personnel eventually took the woman to a hospital.

Police said in a tweet that the woman allegedly stole the pickup from her parents in Sylmar. There appeared to be damage on the front-end of the truck and windshield.
