A Compton High School math teacher was arraigned Tuesday on charges of having sexual contact with three of his female students.
Nicolei Hurtado Ocana, 28, was arrested Friday and was being held in lieu of $390,000 bail. He is charged with two counts of a lewd act on a child, two counts of contact with a minor for sexual offense, one count of oral copulation of a person under 18 and misdemeanor child molestation.
The criminal complaint alleged the criminal acts took place on the campus of Compton High School between September 2008 and last month. Two of the alleged victims were 16 and the third was 15.
If convicted on all the counts, Hurtado could be sent to prison for six years.
