A man used a yellow crowbar to damage about 30 vehicles parked in Koreatown Monday in a case of vandalism that was caught on camera.
The vandalism occurred between Fourth and Seventh streets and Westmoreland Avenue to Virgil Avenue from noon to 3 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Stunned resident Michelle Vizcarra recorded video of the man from her fourth-floor apartment.
"We literally went to the window, we see him breaking glass and we’re like, 'Hey, stop,'" Vizcarra said. "We’re yelling at him. I pop out my phone because I’m like, we've got to et this guy. It’s infuriating, you know?”
Vizcarra ran downstairs to confront the man.

"I'm a very fiery person," she said. "I was just like, 'This isn't cool.'"
Vizcarra lost sight of the man, but found other neighbors outside who also were on the lookout. Police said they received several reports of vandalism in the area in a three-hour window.
"My entire back window was completely shattered to bits," said resident Mileena Sosa. "Then my side driver's mirror is completely gone."

No arrests were reported Tuesday morning.
Detectives described the man as wearing a Dallas sweatshirt, black pants, black slippers and a neon green bag. Police said the vandal is known to be hostile toward bystanders and investigators believed there are possibly additional victims of vandalism.
