A fire burned 10 acres in the Castaic area on Friday night before authorities doused it, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire, named "The Old Fire," was reported to be 10 acres, west of The Old Road and north of Sloan Canyon Road, fire officials said. The blaze began before 9 a.m. Flames were all knocked down about 10:50 p.m.
