Forget burgers, Clayton Kershaw just welcomed the Rams to LA in style—with whiskey.
The Los Angeles Dodgers three-time Cy Young Award winner and 2014 MVP is currently on the 60-day disabled list with a herniated disc in his lower back, so with the extra free time on his hands he thoughtfully went shopping for a stellar gift to give LA's newest sports team.
Kershaw gave each player on the Rams roster a top-shelf bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label currently selling for about $200 a bottle. As an extra bonus, Kershaw had each bottle individually inscribed with the words: "Welcome Home! LA All Day."
There are currently over 120 players and coaches on the roster meaning Kershaw spent in the ballpark of $25,000 for the bottle. That's one way to get seats on the sidelines.
