A magnitude-3.0 earthquake struck approximately off the coast in Malibu Monday morning.
The quake was about 8 miles off the coast at a depth of about 6 miles. It was reported at 7:03 a.m., according to the USGS.

Weak to light shaking was reported along the coast, including in Malibu, Santa Monica, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Venice and Long Beach. Inland areas, including Porter Ranch, Burbank, Moorpark, Brea, Orange, Encino and Thousand Oaks, also reported shaking.
