A lost baby goat returned home to his owners Friday after an adventure in the streets of Azusa landed him in police custody.
Azusa Police Department urged the owners in a Facebook post Thursday to get "Billy" the kid out of jail after he was found running around the area of Foothill Boulevard and Coney Avenue.
"This kid is currently in custody for violation of section 853.4(a) - Goat Roaming Azusa Streets Without Consent of Owner," police said in the tongue-in-cheek post.

He and his owners were on a tour of the city when he went off by himself to explore Azusa.
Billy, from Hesperia, served his sentence by cleaning up the police department's side yard and was "released on good behavior," police said.
