Security has been heightened at Los Angeles International Airport in response to the crash of an EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo.
Airport officials are not providing specifics, but say the "security posture" and "counter-terrorism security measures" have been stepped up at LAX and other Los Angeles World Airports-controlled airfields.
EgyptAir Flight MS804 was carrying 66 people. A top Egyptian official said it was more likely the jet was downed by a terror attack than technical problems.
