A man was killed and a woman was injured after a shooting in South Los Angeles early Friday morning, police said.
The shooting was reported around midnight near 42nd Place and Western Avenue , according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The female victim was transported to a hospital in stable condition. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LAPD.
Police did not have a description of the suspected gunman.
It was unclear if the shooting was gang related.
