Three people, who were injured, were rescued by sheriff's boat deputies from their sailboat when it crashed in stormy weather on the rocks in Marina del Rey.
The rescue took place about 7 p.m. Saturday in Marina del Rey, the department reported.
Marina del Rey rescue boat deputies Josh May and Glenn Maska responded to the boat crash and saved those on board the sail boat, the department said.
The three injured people were hospitalized.
